Collecting Children’s Information
Project-Nerd.com is a general audience web site and we do not knowingly collect any Personally Identifiable Information from children younger than the age of thirteen. We will delete any Personally Identifiable Information collected that we later determine to be from a user younger than the age of thirteen.
Project-Nerd may share content from our ProNerd Tour that includes the use of children. All photography and video content from Project-Nerd at these events are in compliance with the event rules and regulations.
Contest Terms & Conditions
All Contests and Give-Away Opportunities are paid for or provided to Project-Nerd. In the case that a product was provided by a studio or sponsor all contestants will be notified. All prizes are new and sealed unless noted otherwise. In some instances there might be a mark or slash over the UPC in order to prevent a studio sponsored prize from being returned to a brick and mortar business.
Contestants must be of eligible age (if specified for a specific contest), and must be able to provide verification of identity if asked to do so. All contestants must complete the requirements of the individual contest or give-away or they will be deemed ineligible. This includes, but is not limited to, providing contact information, answering a question or series of questions, filling out a form in its entirety, responding in the appropriate area, or entering no more than the maximum entry limit instructed.
You may be deemed ineligible to win a contest if you have already won a contest sponsored by Project-Nerd or any EEON, LLC entity in the past 60 days. Project-Nerd staff is not eligible to win prizes. All staff listed as “for hire” or working as “freelance writers” and “freelance artists” for Project-Nerd or any EEON, LLC entity are ineligible. Immediate family members of all staff and above defined versions of staff are also deemed ineligible for contests sponsored by Project-Nerd or any EEON, LLC entity.
Prizes must be claimed within three days unless the specific contest or give-away states otherwise. All prizes left unclaimed can then be determined to be awarded to a runner-up or not rewarded by cause of abandonment. In order to receive a prize the winner must provide an email address and in some instances a physical address. A physical address is only asked for in the case that an eligible prize has to be shipped.
Project-Nerd will never share or sale contestants personal information with any business outside of the Project-Nerd family. Project-Nerd and its entities have the right to use the information to inform contestants about future contests and give-away opportunities but also will provide appropriate information for unsubscribing to future notifications.
