All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Announces Television Premiere Debut
Since the announcement of AEW (All Elite Wrestling) earlier this year, wrestling fans are ready to officially “Be Elite.”
On Monday (July 29), AEW announced on their Twitter page that the company’s first TV taping will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The episode will air from 8pm-10pm ET, which will be their standard weekly time slot.
In addition to that, AEW also announced two matches that will take place on the premiere episode. The first match will be Cody Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara. The second match announced will be a six-man tag team match featuring Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks vs. Chris Jericho and two mystery partners of his choosing. Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose in the WWE, will also be active during the first event.
Prior to the TV debut, AEW’s All Out Pay-Per-View will take place on Saturday, Aug. 31 at the Sears Centre in Chicago.
