Fighting Cancer with Mustache May
Corey here, Content Creator for Project Nerd, and I am getting ready to embark on a mission few have the courage or ability to face. I have already been to war and lived while in the Army, survived raising three daughters (so far), and fought the urge to pee during the final 60 minutes of Avengers: Endgame; yet this may be the biggest battle of my life.
Lip blanket, face furniture, lip sweater, lower brow, mustache. Get ready, because it is getting a whole lot more “Tom Selleck-y” for the month of May thanks to Mustaches 4 Kids (M4K) Omaha. This year, M4K Omaha is partnering with Angels Among Us to raise money for those affected by childhood cancer.
Mustaches 4 Kids Omaha is the Omaha chapter of Mustaches for Kids International, a volunteer-run organization started in Los Angeles in 1999 to do good and have fun by growing Mustaches for children’s charities. They have raised over $1,700,000 in their first nine years.
Angels Among Us supports families who have children diagnosed with cancer. Over the last 12 years, they have helped over 400 families with expenses totaling more than $1.6 million.
