Where The Hateful Eight Will Screen In 70MM

Quentin Tarantino’s eighth film, The Hateful Eight, is due out Christmas Day. When the movie was first announced there were rumors that two versions of the film would be made available, and movie fanatics will be pleased to know those rumors are true.

One version of The Hateful Eight will be presented in 70 mm film format, with an overture and an intermission, and will be displayed exactly how Quentin Tarantino originally intended his 3 hour 2 minute film to be seen.

This version will only be available at 100 theaters in 44 markets though, including local Project-Nerd markets Denver and Kansas City.

You can pre-order your tickets and find the exact theaters showing it by visiting tickets.thehatefuleight.com.

But if you still aren’t sure that you want to visit one of these special showings, we’ll let know that Tarantino is expected to make appearances at a few of these locations over the holiday weekend.

This is an awesome treat all around for movie fans. I for one love classic cinema and can’t wait to see what a modern day movie is going to look like in vintage 70mm, including the breaks.
