‘Geek Fuel: Mystery Box’ October Unboxing
I’m convinced they are losing money on these things.
Geek Fuel is a monthly mystery box filled with geeky goodness. Each month you get a mix of toys, digital games, limited edition collectibles along with a limited edition geeky t-shirt.
Geek Fuel sent us their October box, and we unboxed it in last week’s episode of the Nerdcast.
The contents of October’s Geek Fuel mystery box were as great as they always are, with a few surprises and the first ever Funko Pop Vinyl figure included.
Like all Geek Fuel boxes, this box includes the in house magazine that features information regarding some of the more relevant geek happenings this month.
Under the magazine, there was a large amount of goodies to be found. Like every month a full game download was in the box, October’s title being zombie-themed with Over 9000 Zombies. A can of Guardianade Energy Soda branded with the Master Chief for the upcoming Halo 5 release offered a citrus boost during game time. Right beside it was the first Pop Vinyl figure in a Geek Fuel box, one Yandu from Guardians of the Galaxy. The box also featured a Star Wars themed “It’s a Nap” pillow case and a limited edition gaming inspired t-shirt.
And of course, Geek Fuel was out in time for Back to the Future day so a time machine decal, a save the clock tower pin, and a copy of the flyer from the first movie all were included in the box as well. The bonus gift for those local to Geek Fuel was a ticket to the Denver Symphony’s performance of Back to the Future. An awesome little treat.
Overall, we’ve received a number of Geek Fuel boxes to date and we still have not been disappointed. For less than $25 a month you can get a great box delivered to your door each month.
