‘Geek Fuel: Mystery Box’ Unboxing Video

What’s in the box!? What’s in the box!?

Geek Fuel is a monthly mystery box filled with geeky goodness. Each month you get a mix of toys, digital games, limited edition collectibles along with a limited edition geeky t-shirt.

Geek Fuel sent us their June box, and we unboxed it in the Season 4 finale of the Nerdcast.

The contents of June’s Geek Fuel mystery box were pretty awesome; much superior than a few other crates we’ve received lately. Although we’ve enjoyed the variety of geek boxes we’ve seen, Geek Fuel has enough useful items and variety from month to month that it makes you want to keep the subscription.

In each Geek Fuel box there is a Geek Fuel published magazine. The magazine contains articles about a variety of relative geeky things, including a review from Project-Nerd for the Witcher 3.

The June box included a well rounded collection of other items. There was a clever Finish It bookmark featuring Mortal Kombat‘s Scorpion and Sub Zero. The two are apparently avid readers. There was also a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers magnet. Supposedly you got one of five in each box, and we ended up with the Red Ranger (score). A digital download code and keychain for the game Super Win was included. We have yet to check the game out, so we can’t tell you whether this was a great add or not.

The big items in the box included a vat of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ooze. This was very exciting for the entire Project-Nerd team (if you couldn’t tell from the video). But the weight of the box was made up of both Jurassic Park and The Lost World in paperback and an X-Files themed t-shirt. These are great items as they are usable and relevant to what is going on in the entertainment industry right now.

Overall, we’ve received three Geek Fuel boxes (spread out) to date and we have yet to be disappointed. We recommend checking them out.
