Fallout 4 mod to be larger than Far Harbor
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for about the last year, you’ve probably at least heard of Fallout 4. Something you may not have heard and you should have, especially if you are a PC gamer, is the thriving mod community for the game that is making the game a must own. Bethesda softworks has always been amazing at making their games highly moddable and that is the reason why Skyrim is still fun to this day.
With the hyped release of the Far Harbor DLC for Fallout 4, most gamers have allocated some time to play it before the next big thing happens. But, thanks to a dedicated team of 18 members, the next big thing may already be here: a fan-made mod called Cascadia that is even larger than the Far Harbor DLC. Obviously, as a fan made DLC, there isn’t a whole lot of information on it just yet; but you can follow this link to the mod’s tumblr page and check out more of the details yourself. From a brief skim one can learn that the setting for the mod will put the player in Seattle, Washington several decades after the events of Fallout 4‘s main storyline, which is exciting for several different reasons. For one thing, it’s more Fallout 4, but because this mod will take us across the United States it could inspire new aspiring programmers to create their own mods in different cities. This means that Fallout 4 could potentially become a nuclear fallout playground that stretches across the entire United States.
Part of being a nerd is loving what you do and these modders would make any gamer proud!
